In a November 17, 2024 report about The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Stacey Rusch said her estranged husband, Thiemo, was happy for her reality-TV opportunity and for their daughter, Arabella. The report did not quote Thiemo directly: his reaction was presented through Stacey’s account. At the time, Stacey was also describing her relationship with Thomas Anthony “TJ” Jones as faith-centered and moving slowly.
What Stacey said about Thiemo’s reaction
Collider reported that Stacey said Thiemo “doesn’t watch the show” and was “happy for me, [and] he’s happy that [our daughter] Arabella is happy.” Those words describe Stacey’s account of his response; they are not a statement Thiemo gave to Collider. Collider’s November 17, 2024 report placed the comments in the context of Stacey’s Season 9 story.
Where TJ fit into the story at the time
In that same 2024 report, Stacey spoke about her relationship with TJ and said, “Our relationship is grounded in our faith and God, and we are choosing to take things slowly.” This was her description of the relationship then, not a current status update.
How the relationship story changed
Season 9 reunion coverage
In 2025 reunion coverage, Bravo reported that Stacey and TJ were no longer together. It also reported Stacey’s account that the relationship had ended around the holidays and that she had finalized her divorce from Thiemo. Bravo’s Season 9 reunion report reflects a later point in the timeline than Collider’s November 2024 story.

Season 10 coverage
In October 2025, Bravo reported that Stacey said she and Thiemo had reconciled after receiving notice of their divorce. During Season 10 coverage, cast members also raised claims questioning her relationship with TJ and her marital status. Those were on-screen disputes, not independently established facts; Stacey denied allegations that she paid TJ to appear as her love interest. Bravo’s Season 10 coverage reports her account of the reconciliation and the disputed claims.
