The nude lip Kim Kardashian is most clearly documented wearing is her 2024 Met Gala look: Makeup by Mario Suede Lipstick in Sam, paired with the Makeup by Mario Ultra Suede Sculpting Lip Pencil in Smokey Pink. Vogue reported on May 7, 2024 that Kardashian called the combination “my iconic nude lip.” Her other nude lips come from different occasions, brands and years, and the reporting does not establish that any one of these shades is her everyday choice.
The 2024 Met Gala look
Vogue’s coverage of the event, published May 7, 2024 under the headline about a “natural luminous look,” credits longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic with creating Kardashian’s beauty. The article names two products: the Suede Lipstick in Sam and the Ultra Suede Sculpting Lip Pencil in Smokey Pink. It is the most specific, dated and attributed record of a nude lip she has worn, and it is the right reference if you are asking about a particular event look.

Her stated preference: a darker liner under an ombré nude lip
In a 2024 ELLE interview tied to the launch of her SKKN by Kim Makeup line, Kardashian described her approach to nude lips in her own words: “For me, a nude lip. I’ve always done a darker liner with an ombré nude lip and that will always be super in to me.” She also named a pairing she likes: liner 13 with lipstick shades 3 through 6. This describes a method rather than a single product, which is why it is more useful than any one shade name if you are trying to understand her style.
The SKKN by Kim campaign shades
For the brand’s campaign, Kardashian said the look used the Nude 9 liner and shade 3 lipstick. This is a separate brand-campaign look, not part of the Met Gala combination. ELLE’s launch description put the full line at 15 liner shades, ranging from beige and pink nudes to richer brown nudes, and 10 velvet matte lip colors. Those are counts of the product range at launch, not a measure of how often any shade is used.

Allure, September 25, 2015: the Joyce Bonelli tutorial
Allure’s report on a tutorial with Joyce Bonelli names two products: the M.A.C. Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare and the Kardashian Beauty Honey Stick Lip Gloss in Natural Honey. The method described is a neutral pink liner filled across the lips, with a nude gloss on top. The report does not name a lipstick.
Glamour, November 9, 2015: the Mario Dedivanovic tutorial
Glamour’s report on a Mario Dedivanovic tutorial names Tom Ford Sable Smoke as the creamy nude lipstick. The method was to blot the lipstick with tissue to reduce oil and create a matte effect, apply gloss at the center of the lips, then refine the outer corners with liner. Kardashian’s remark about the formula, quoted in the same coverage, was: “It still feels creamy, which I like.” That was a 2015 observation, not a statement about how the product performs today.

KKW Beauty’s nude range (2018)
Allure’s 2018 launch coverage of KKW Beauty’s nude collection describes eight crème lipsticks and three lip liners. Named shades include Nude 1, a light pinky nude; Nude 5, a mid-tone rosy nude; and Nude 6, a deep brown nude. The coverage also describes Classic K, a color that Mario Dedivanovic had mixed for Kardashian over time, in the KKW x Mario collaboration. Treat this as launch history. It does not show that the range is still sold.
