Nicki Minaj reacted positively to a White House TikTok posted November 3, 2025, that used a mashup of her song “Beez in the Trap” and 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” The next day, she commented: “This is pretty incredible. Thank you 🙏🏽”. Her response was to this particular clip; it does not, by itself, establish a broader political endorsement.
What did Nicki Minaj say about the White House TikTok?
TMZ reported on November 4, 2025, that Minaj left the comment “This is pretty incredible. Thank you 🙏🏽” under the White House TikTok video. The account had posted the clip the previous day. TMZ’s report attributes the comment to Minaj and places it in the context of that post.

Minaj also reacted on X. Complex reproduced her post: “The President & First Lady of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and “Barbz, idk which one of you uploaded this to the White House TikTok but just know unlimited backstage GAG CITY FOR LIFE. Idk what timeline we’re on right now, I’m just goin [with] the flow.” Complex’s report provides the wording and context.
What was in the clip and which remix did it use?
The video paired footage of Donald Trump and Melania Trump with a mashup of Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap” and 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” Breitbart’s November 4 account describes Trump footage leading into footage of the president alongside the first lady as Minaj’s part of the remix begins. Breitbart’s report describes the clip and its audio.

- Shrink-wrapped
The White House account used an existing mashup; it did not originate the remix. Complex attributed the mashup to TikTok user @dj.auxlord and described it as a viral sound later used by the Trump administration. Complex’s account distinguishes the remix’s creator from the White House’s later use.
Where does “Beez in the Trap” come from?
“Beez in the Trap,” featuring 2 Chainz, was released as a single in 2012 from Minaj’s album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The White House clip’s mashup paired it with “What’s Up?” by 4 Non Blondes. The song-release reference supplies the album and release context.
Rank #2
The album context helps identify the original track, but the viral audio in the video was a mashup rather than the original “Beez in the Trap” recording on its own.

Her comment and X post show a positive reaction to the specific White House video and its use of the mashup. They should not be treated on their own as proof of a wider political position. The clearest account is the narrow one: she praised the clip, while the available statements quoted above concern that post and its presentation.
