Netflix’s official information does not confirm four returning shows for the week of Oct. 5–11, 2026. Its October guide names Nobody Wants This, Lupin and The Diplomat as series with fresh episodes sometime during October, but does not establish that they arrive this week. Netflix’s Oct. 9 listing includes Haunted Hotel and Is It Cake? Halloween; the listing excerpt does not identify either as a returning season.
What Netflix shows are returning this week?
For the Monday-to-Sunday week of Oct. 5–11, the available Netflix schedule information does not support a verified list of four returning seasons. The month-wide announcements and dated Oct. 9 entries are not enough to establish which titles, if any, qualify as new-season returns during this particular week.
Netflix Tudum’s Oct. 2 weekly guide is relevant to the surrounding release period, but its available excerpt does not enumerate four returning seasons for Oct. 5–11. The headline’s count should therefore not be treated as a confirmed schedule.
What Netflix has announced for October
Netflix Tudum’s October guide, published Sept. 30, identifies Nobody Wants This, Lupin and The Diplomat as series with fresh episodes arriving during October. The guide excerpt does not give a complete week-by-week schedule or specify the season or part labels and dates needed to confirm that any of these titles returns between Oct. 5 and 11. What is listed for Oct. 9?
Netflix’s official New on Netflix listing shows Haunted Hotel and Is It Cake? Halloween dated Oct. 9, 2026. The captured listing does not label either entry as a returning season, so a release date alone does not establish that either belongs on a list of shows returning with new seasons. Check Netflix’s New on Netflix listings.
Why the wording matters
A new season, a volume or part of a split season, and a new standalone title describe different kinds of releases. A reliable weekly list needs Netflix’s title-level label and release date for each entry; a month-wide mention or a dated listing without a season designation is not sufficient to call a title a returning season.
