“Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson’s behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts. During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts. That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions. I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.”
The statement announced immediate separation from the company and channel while saying further action would depend on the investigation’s findings. TIME reproduced the statement, and a contemporaneous post capture is available from Rattibha.

Why did Ava Kris Tyson leave MrBeast?
On July 23, 2024, Tyson announced she was stepping away from “all things MrBeast.” TIME reported that she described the decision as permanent and said she would focus on her family and mental health. She also denied grooming, saying, “I never groomed anyone,” and apologized for past behavior or comments that had hurt or offended people. TIME’s account covers her announcement and response.
Tyson’s departure announcement came before MrBeast’s post removing her from his company and channel. The timing is important: her public decision to step away and his stated company action were separate announcements on consecutive days.

What did LavaGS say?
TIME reported that LavaGS, the person named in online allegations, denied being exploited or groomed and characterized the interactions as edgy jokes. LavaGS said, “I am not a victim of anything being claimed in these videos or at all.” That is LavaGS’s reported account; it does not independently establish what happened. The Independent also reported on the responses.
What did the later company investigation find?
On November 1, 2024, the Associated Press reported on the results of a nearly three-month company workplace investigation led by trial lawyer Alex Spiro. Investigators found several isolated instances of workplace harassment and misconduct. AP reported that the report found no basis for allegations that team members committed sexual misconduct or knowingly employed people with illegal or questionable histories.

AP said investigators interviewed 39 current and former employees and reviewed millions of documents from phones, email, Discord, and Slack. The 39 interviews describe the scope of the broader workplace inquiry; they are not a count of witnesses to any one allegation involving Tyson. The findings were from a company investigation, not a court ruling, and do not amount to a definitive adjudication of every online claim about Tyson. AP quoted Spiro saying, “It is not uncommon that policies and practices essential in a mature company would lag behind commercial success.” The Associated Press report describes the inquiry and its stated scope.

AP separately reported that between five and ten employees were fired. A company spokesperson declined to give an exact number or specify the reasons for individual departures. Those reported firings were part of the company response described by AP, not evidence that every allegation concerning Tyson was resolved by the workplace investigation. AP’s account includes that qualification.
