He ate it on June 24, 2009, according to an Associated Press reconstruction republished by CBS News. That account identifies his last family meal—not a confirmed record of the last food he ate before his death the following day.
What was the meal?
The Associated Press reconstruction, published by CBS News as “Michael Jackson’s Final Hours”, says Jackson ate with his children in the early afternoon of June 24, 2009. His personal chef, Kai Chase, prepared seared ahi tuna, an organic salad, and a glass of carrot and orange juice.
The report places the meal before Jackson went to rehearsal later that day. It does not provide a complete account of everything he ate or drank afterward.
Was it definitely his final food?
No. The AP account supports calling it his last reported meal with his children, or his last family meal. It does not establish that it was his final food intake before he died on June 25, 2009. The reporting describes the family meal and a later rehearsal, but does not trace every meal or snack between them and his death.

Why do some accounts mention chicken and spinach?
A July 30, 2009 Guardian report based on an interview with Chase describes spinach salad and chicken among the household’s lunch-menu options. That is context about the food Jackson and his children might eat, not evidence that chicken and spinach were served at the last family meal. The AP reconstruction is the specific account naming that meal.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s autopsy report hosted by the Los Angeles Times documents medical findings; it does not establish what Jackson ate at his last meal. Likewise, reports about his broader eating habits do not identify his final food. An ABC News report published July 2, 2009, described conflicting accounts of his diet and said there was no solid evidence at that time that he had an eating disorder; it offers no basis for inferring a diagnosis or connecting his meal to his death.
