What Chelsea Blackwell said on Love Is Blind
During a season six pod date with Jimmy Presnell, Blackwell said people had told her she looked like Megan Fox. She said she did not see the resemblance herself and suggested the comparison might come from her light eyes and dark hair. She also referred to Fox as Machine Gun Kelly’s wife or fiancée. The Independent reported on Blackwell’s comments on February 19, 2024.
How Megan Fox responded
Fox addressed the reaction in an E! News interview at the Revolve Festival on April 13, 2024; E! published its report the next day. E! reported Fox saying, “I did see a picture of her.” Fox also described being inundated with messages about the story: “I’ve never had more people text me about something,” she said while explaining that she does not watch much television. The point of Fox’s response was her sympathy for Blackwell amid the reaction. She said Blackwell did not deserve the treatment she received. That is different from treating Fox’s remarks as a categorical endorsement of the resemblance: the reported comments acknowledge the picture and the comparison people had made, while criticizing the backlash.

What Chelsea said later about the attention
In an October 2024 E! News interview, Blackwell later described the continuing attention around the comparison as silly. The follow-up framed the episode as an online reaction, not a personal dispute between the two women. E! reported Blackwell’s retrospective comments on October 21, 2024.
