Dexerto quoted her as writing: “I do not aim to take anyone down, just simply and explicitly tell you that there are scary people out there, people who will hurt you, use you, spit you out and then tell you it’s your fault.” She continued: “It’s all of our jobs to protect our friends, our moms, our wives, our sisters, our daughters, OURSELVES from people like that.” The report said she did not identify the person she was describing.
What did she post later on X?
Spidell later wrote: “Three years away from that weirdo, my skin is clear, my relationships and friendships are flourishing, I’m frolicking in a field.” She also answered criticism that her earlier posts were vague: “‘She’s so vague,’ ‘She said nothing.’ From the looks of it, I don’t need to. Not putting myself through that sh*t again, but thanks!” These quotations are reproduced in Dexerto’s report; the quoted posts refer to an unnamed person.

Did Maddy Spidell name MrBeast?
No. The reported Instagram Stories and X posts did not name Donaldson. The link to him was an inference made by readers and coverage, not an explicit identification in the posts. That distinction matters: the statements themselves do not establish who Spidell meant or prove claims about that person’s conduct.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why did people connect the posts to MrBeast?
Coverage reported that Spidell and Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson began dating in June 2019 and separated in 2022. That timeline helps explain why readers associated her “three years away” post with Donaldson. It is context for the speculation, not confirmation that he was the unnamed person.
