Neither post establishes a measured amount of weight change or a medical explanation.
What Lizzo’s “Fine Both Ways” TikTok showed
E! reported that Lizzo posted the TikTok on September 18, 2024. Its description says the video showed her in a black two-piece before cutting to a gray bodysuit, with the caption “Fine both ways.” E! also reported that the clip used a TikTok sound featuring Nicki Minaj audio. The original TikTok could not be independently retrieved, so these details are attributed to E!’s account of the post. E! News, September 20, 2024 (updated October 4, 2024)

How Lizzo responded to Ozempic speculation
A few days later, Lizzo addressed speculation about Ozempic in an Instagram post. Access reported that text on the video read: “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.” That is Lizzo’s reported response to the speculation; it does not independently confirm her medication use, exercise routine, diet, or health. What her earlier comments add—and what they do not
In a 2023 TikTok discussed by Allure, Lizzo supported a creator who described exercising for fitness and health rather than to “escape fatness.” Allure quoted Lizzo saying, “I’m not trying to be thin. I don’t ever want to be thin.” The report also described her comments about the physical demands of performing and her focus on fitness and stamina. Those remarks provide context for her public discussion of fitness, but they do not establish what motivated her 2024 TikTok. Allure, May 15, 2023

E! also reproduced Lizzo’s comments to The New York Times from April 2024: “I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day,” and “The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day.” These are her reported comments about body image, not an explanation of the later video. A clothing change in a short video is not a measurement of weight or a health assessment. The reporting cited here provides no independently verified weight figure, health outcome, or medical cause for a visible change. The Ozempic reference belongs to the speculation Lizzo addressed; it is not evidence that she used the medication.
