She was responding to online speculation about a reunion blowup, which she denied. In a later interview, she clarified that her remark was directed at the producers she had worked with—not a promise to leave every part of the franchise forever.
What Leah Kateb said after the Season 6 reunion
After reunion filming, social-media discussion circulated claims of a blowup. Kateb responded on TikTok that no blowup had happened and described herself as exhausted by the experience. Contemporary reporting quoted her as writing: “I’m exhausted mentally physically and spiritually from this entire experience. I’m tired. I told them I am DONE after reunion.” Yahoo Entertainment / Deadline and TV Insider reported on the replies.

She also wrote, “No ‘blow up’ happened at the reunion,” according to the contemporaneous coverage. Those quotations were reproduced by news outlets; the cited reports do not establish independent verification of the original TikTok post.
Was she quitting Love Island altogether?
Not according to her later clarification. In an interview about life after the villa, Kateb said her “done” comment referred to the producers she had worked with. She said she would not return to the show as a contestant, but left open the possibility of coming back in another capacity. Yahoo Entertainment’s later interview provides that distinction.

That makes the August remark narrower than a permanent farewell to the entire Love Island franchise: it expressed exhaustion and a boundary with the production team involved in her experience, while ruling out competing again.

Kateb’s comment appeared in response to rumors about what had happened at the reunion, rather than as a standalone announcement about her future. Her denial addressed the central claim—she said there had been no blowup—while her explanation that she was mentally, physically, and spiritually exhausted described how the experience had affected her.
No separate official reunion or production statement resolving the meaning of her remark is established in the cited coverage. Her later interview is the clearest explanation of whom she meant and what kind of return she would consider.
