Kim Kardashian wore a vintage white Mugler corset bodice with a slinky white robe coat and nude PVC heels to the Fourth Annual Academy Museum Gala on October 19, 2024. The combination created the impression of a pantless look, though Vogue identified those pieces rather than calling the outfit “pantless.”
What Kim Kardashian wore
Vogue reported that Kardashian’s fitted white corset bodice came from Mugler’s spring 1998 couture collection. She paired it with a slinky white robe coat and nude PVC heels. Vogue’s gala gallery also described the look as “vintage Mugler.”
The “pantless” description refers to the styling impression created by the bodice and robe coat without conventional trousers or a skirt in Vogue’s account. It is not the garment name used in the report, and the available coverage does not identify the bodice as a complete runway look.

Vogue’s coverage also recalled Kardashian’s 2019 Mugler Met Gala look and quoted her remark about its restrictions: “If I don’t sit down for dinner, now you know why.” That comment referred to the 2019 look, not her 2024 Academy Museum Gala outfit.
