Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were reported to own a custom Tesla Model S P100D with a Pantone matte silver finish. The car was customized by Platinum Motorsports; photos credited to The Platinum Group / Instagram accompanied Futurism’s 2018 report.
What did Kanye West’s custom Tesla look like?
It was described as a Tesla Model S P100D in Pantone matte silver: a muted, non-glossy silver finish rather than the standard shiny look of many factory-painted cars. The report’s photos, credited to The Platinum Group / Instagram, show the vehicle and give the clearest sense of its appearance. Futurism’s article was updated April 6, 2018.
Who customized the Model S?
Futurism named Platinum Motorsports as the shop behind the custom finish. The report does not identify the exact product or process used, so it is not possible to say whether the car was painted, wrapped, or finished another way based on that account alone.
What was reported about the car’s ownership?
The 2018 article reported Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as owners. That is a dated report, not confirmation that either still owns the car or that its condition remains the same.

Matte silver automotive wrap film is a related category to explore if you want a similar appearance. The report identifies the finish, not a particular wrap brand or material, so it does not establish that wrap film was used on this Model S.
