What is Vlone?

A$AP Bari, whose legal name is Jabari Shelton, is a central figure in accounts of Vlone’s beginnings. Those accounts should not be treated as equivalent: the filing records a litigant’s allegation, not a final ruling on who created or owned the brand. The available sources give different dates, so there is no single date that can be stated as settled fact here.

The clearest careful description is that Vlone is a Harlem-associated label whose stated founding date varies by source.
What does “Vlone” mean?
Vlone’s own explanation centers on standing apart and individual expression. The About page attributes this statement to F. SO Hunter: “VLONE was never about one individual. We are the stamp for creatives who stand tall, thriving on individuality, caring less about rules & regulations that have long governed the fashion style of society.” VLONE About page statement

The brand’s “LIVE VLONE DIE VLONE” phrase is its own tagline. It expresses the label’s identity, but should not be mistaken for independent evidence about the brand’s history or founding.
Is Vlone still owned by A$AP Bari?
The sources do not establish who currently owns or controls Vlone or its trademark. Bari’s filing asserted exclusive ownership, but the materials available do not set out the terms or present effect of the reported settlement of the trademark dispute. It would therefore be inaccurate to treat the filing alone as proof of current ownership.

What does Vlone sell, and how can you check authenticity?
Vlone is principally associated with apparel, including graphic T-shirts and hoodies. Product pages or marketplace listings are not, by themselves, evidence that an item is official or authentic.
Vlone says genuine products released after July 2021 use Certilogo technology for authentication protection.
