How she left the show
Dennis exited Southern Charm after Season 8. Bravo reports that she confirmed the departure in January 2023. Coverage of her exit does not describe the circumstances in detail, so any explanation beyond the confirmed departure should be treated as speculation.
What her public updates look like
Bravo describes Dennis as more private than she was during her time on the show, and says she shares occasional glimpses of her life rather than a steady stream of updates. The most detailed example Bravo reported comes from a June 2025 Instagram Story, in which she posted a selfie with the caption “She walked back in red,” followed by “The court didn’t crown her — the storm did.”
Bravo presented those lines as Dennis’s own wording. No context accompanied them, and nothing in the reporting ties them to a specific case or ruling, so they should be read only as what she posted.

Her most consistent public theme is her children. Two discrete examples are documented:
- May 2025: Bravo reported a Story that shared Mother’s Day messages and reflections about children.
- May 2026: EntertainmentNow reported that she shared photos with her children over Mother’s Day weekend.
These are individual posts. They do not describe custody, living arrangements, or the day-to-day structure of her family, and should not be read that way.

The return-to-school announcement
In March 2024, Dennis posted an Instagram Story reading, “This girl is going back to school!” Bravo’s report says she did not say where she would study, what subject she chose, or what type of school she meant. Nothing in the coverage confirms that she enrolled, is attending, or has completed a program. Treat the announcement as a stated plan from 2024, not a current status.
Is a return to Southern Charm on the table?
In September 2026, former castmate Craig Conover said he hoped Dennis would return to the show one day. His words, as reported by EntertainmentNow, were: “Hopefully she’s doing well; hopefully she’ll come back to the show one day.”

That is his hope, not a casting announcement. No statement from Dennis or Bravo confirms that she has agreed to return or that the network has made a decision.
What the coverage does not establish
A 2025 episode of the podcast Behind the Velvet Rope, listed on Apple Podcasts on August 18, 2025, was promoted as covering topics including her children and rumors about her. The listing is a promotional description, not independent reporting, so it does not confirm any of those claims.

Secondary entertainment coverage and podcast titles have circulated rumors about Dennis, including claims about an accident, sobriety, and custody. None of those claims is established by the reporting reviewed here, and they should not be repeated as fact.
