What does Ojani Noa do for a living?
Noa’s public career has included restaurant work as well as modeling and acting. In an interview updated in 2022, he said he had spent 17 years working in restaurant management and as a co-owner. Telemundo’s 2023 profile called him an actor, model and host. It reported that he began acting in 2002, playing Dan Valdez in Rappin-n-Rhyming. In a separate 2023 interview, Noa said he enjoyed sports, acting, modeling, writing, film production and directing. These descriptions document his interests and past work; they do not specify a current job.
How did Ojani Noa meet Jennifer Lopez?
According to Noa’s recollections reported by the Miami Herald on September 16, 2024, he met Lopez in 1996 while working as a waiter at Larios On The Beach in Miami. She came to eat while filming Blood and Wine.
They married in Miami in February 1997. The Miami Herald and HOLA! USA both describe the marriage as lasting 11 months. Noa later recalled being heartbroken after the divorce. In the 2022 HOLA! USA interview, he said he and Lopez had not spoken for more than 12 years; that statement refers to the period of that interview, not necessarily to later contact.
