There is no verified public figure for Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s personal net worth. Forbes’ $300 million figure for him is a 2026 creator-earnings estimate, while the reported $5 billion valuation is for Beast Industries—not cash or personal wealth belonging to Donaldson. His business illustrates why huge audiences do not automatically mean huge profits: in 2024, Feastables reportedly made more than $20 million in profit, while the media business lost almost $80 million.
What is MrBeast’s net worth?
No reliable public source establishes Donaldson’s current personal net worth, liquid assets, debts, or ownership share in his businesses. A personal net-worth calculation requires assets and liabilities, not just a prominent earnings estimate or a company valuation.
Forbes’ profile, updated June 23, 2026, lists $300 million in 2026 Top Creators earnings. That is an earnings-list figure, not an estimate of his net worth. Forbes also reports a $5 billion valuation for Beast Industries; that value belongs to the company and does not show how much Donaldson could personally spend or what his stake is worth after liabilities and other ownership claims. How does MrBeast make money?
Donaldson’s business model reaches beyond advertising on YouTube. Its components include media and sponsorships, consumer products, software and licensing, and streaming. These channels can generate revenue in different ways—and their costs and profitability can differ sharply.

YouTube videos and sponsorships
A large audience creates opportunities to earn from platform advertising and paid brand integrations. In a 2024 interview, TIME reported that sponsorship shout-outs could cost $2.5 million to $3 million, citing Marc Hustvedt, who then ran Donaldson’s YouTube business. That is a historical manager-reported range, not a current rate card. TIME’s 2024 interview with MrBeast
Forbes’ profile, last updated June 23, 2026, says Donaldson’s YouTube channels had more than 640 million subscribers and generated more than 5 billion views per year. Those are figures reported in the profile, not a live counter. Reach can help attract advertisers, but it does not reveal the channel’s costs or net profit.
Feastables and other consumer products
Feastables turns the audience into potential customers for packaged products, rather than relying only on ad sales. Fortune reported that investor materials sent to potential investors showed about $250 million in Feastables sales and more than $20 million in profit in 2024. These are business results reported from investor materials—not Donaldson’s personal income. Fortune’s 2025 report on MrBeast’s business finances
Fortune also reported that the media business had similar sales in 2024 but lost almost $80 million. The contrast shows why sales alone can mislead: a business can bring in a comparable amount of money and still produce a very different operating result.

Streaming and production
Beast Games took Donaldson’s competition-show format to Prime Video. Fortune reported that production of season one cost more than $100 million, and quoted Donaldson’s remarks on the Diary of a CEO podcast: “I lost tens of millions of dollars on Beast Games.” A reported production payment from a streaming partner should not be mistaken for net profit after production and other costs. Software, licensing, and acquisitions
Forbes’ June 2026 profile also lists creator analytics software Viewstats, food brand Lunchly, toy and clothing licensing, and Beast Games among the business portfolio. It reports that Beast Industries purchased the Step financial app in February 2026. The profile describes a range of business interests, but it does not provide a personal balance sheet or establish how much each contributes to Donaldson’s wealth.

Why views and revenue do not equal personal fortune
A video’s audience is only one part of its economics. Production, staffing, operations, and other expenses affect whether revenue becomes profit. Fortune reported that people familiar with company finances put the typical cost of a main-channel video at $3 million to $4 million; that is a reported estimate, not an audited cost for every video. Its reporting on the 2024 media and Feastables results shows the wider point: similar sales can accompany a loss in one business and a profit in another.
Nor does a company valuation convert directly into cash for its founder. The reported $5 billion Beast Industries valuation is a business valuation, not proof that Donaldson personally owns the entire company, has that amount available, or could sell his stake for that sum. The reviewed public reporting does not establish his ownership breakdown or liabilities.

What Donaldson has said about reinvesting
In February 2024, Fortune reported Donaldson saying that he reinvested business earnings into making more videos and did not consider himself rich at the time. In a 2024 interview, he said: “Right now, whatever we make, we reinvest.” These are dated statements about his approach then, not an audited account of his finances today.
