Jennie Nguyen was fired from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in January 2022 after posts from her 2020 Facebook account resurfaced. The latest substantiated updates in the available reporting are from 2024: she was reported to be promoting a wallet insert kit and sharing family life, and she appeared on a podcast to discuss her time on the show and her exit. Those reports do not establish what she is doing in October 2026.
Why did Jennie Nguyen leave RHOSLC?
Nguyen’s departure followed the resurfacing of Facebook posts she had shared in 2020. CBS News described the posts as criticizing protesters and the Black Lives Matter movement. On January 19, 2022, Nguyen apologized on Instagram, saying she had learned how offensive and hurtful the posts were and regretted the pain they caused. CBS News reported on the posts and her apology.
On January 25, Bravo announced that it had ceased filming with Nguyen and that she would no longer be a cast member. The network also acknowledged that it had failed to act appropriately when the posts first came to its attention. Bravo’s announcement confirmed the casting decision.
How did Nguyen respond to the firing?
The day after Bravo’s announcement, Nguyen discussed the decision and the controversy during an Instagram Live conversation with a friend. As Vanity Fair reported, she said she took responsibility and accountability for what had been posted to her account.

What was she doing in 2024?
Promoting a product and sharing family life
A February 2024 report by Nicki Swift said Nguyen was promoting a wallet insert kit through an online Shopify shop and sharing family outings. The report also said she promoted a weight-loss book by her husband, Duy Tran. These are details from a dated account, not confirmation that the shop or promotions remain active.
Discussing her RHOSLC experience on a podcast
An episode of Behind the Velvet Rope featuring Nguyen was listed by Apple Podcasts on November 18, 2024. The listing describes a conversation about her experience on RHOSLC and her exit. The Apple Podcasts listing confirms the episode and its date.

Is Jennie Nguyen back on RHOSLC, or what is she doing now?
The available reporting does not establish Nguyen’s current job or business status in October 2026, or confirm a return to Bravo. Bravo’s Jennie Nguyen archive retains coverage of her departure, but the material cited here does not announce a return. The clearest answer is therefore limited: her publicly reported activities after leaving the show include the 2024 product promotion, family updates, and podcast appearance; anything beyond those dated updates is unconfirmed.
