Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente’s son is reported to have the middle name River. His first name has not been publicly revealed in the cited coverage. The Standard framed River as a tribute to nature and a continuation of the water-themed middle names of Bündchen’s children with Tom Brady, but Bündchen has not publicly confirmed that explanation.
What is Gisele Bündchen’s baby’s name?
The Standard reported on February 7, 2025, citing PEOPLE, that Bündchen and Valente welcomed a boy whose middle name is River. The report said his first name had not been made public. The Miami Herald likewise noted in May 2025 that Bündchen’s Mother’s Day post showed the baby but did not reveal his name.
Why is River described as a tribute?
The Standard connected River to the middle names of Bündchen and Tom Brady’s older children: Vivian Lake and Benjamin Rein. It described the names as a water-themed pattern and presented River as a nature tribute. That is the publication’s interpretation, not a meaning Bündchen has directly confirmed.
ABC News identifies Benjamin and Vivian as Bündchen and Brady’s children and reported that Bündchen welcomed a third child, a son, in 2025.

Has the baby’s first name since been revealed?
Not in the cited public reports. In January 2026, Us Weekly reported that a necklace bearing the initials J, B, V and A might offer a clue. The suggestion that A could stand for the baby’s first name was speculative; the article said the name had not been publicly shared.
