The accessible announcement says a video is attached, but does not give a stable viewing URL or name a director, production company, interviewees, runtime, or release platform. It therefore does not establish who appears in the film or whether its perspective extends beyond the project team.
What is the Nairyah 2 project?
HEI describes Nairyah 2 as a gas-fired combined-cycle power project in Saudi Arabia and links it to Saudi Vision 2030 energy planning. The company says the project is intended to optimize the power mix and improve the grid’s peak-shaving capacity. Those are HEI’s descriptions of the project’s goals and policy role, not an independent evaluation of its effects.

Harbin Electric Corporation reported that the project’s Unit 1 gas turbine was positioned at 1:58 p.m. local Saudi time on March 29, 2026, marking the start of gas-turbine installation for that unit. Its report describes Nairyah 2 as one of the country’s largest recent gas-fired combined-cycle projects by installed capacity, but does not state a capacity figure.
