Those disclosures describe experiences she chose to share; they are not a complete or current medical record.
What health issues has Jennifer Aniston talked about?
Her public comments cover three distinct experiences: dyslexia, sleep problems she described as insomnia, and fertility treatment. The accounts below report what Aniston has said, not an independent assessment of her health.
Did Jennifer Aniston say she has dyslexia?
Yes. In a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston said she learned she had dyslexia in her twenties after an assessment connected with getting glasses. ABC News reported that account, and Understood later summarized it.
Aniston described struggling with reading and retaining material at school. She said, “I thought I wasn’t smart. I just couldn’t retain anything.” She also explained that learning about dyslexia helped her make sense of those difficulties and how she had viewed herself. This is her account of receiving a diagnosis and its personal significance, not a substitute for a clinical record.

Does Jennifer Aniston have insomnia?
Aniston has described dealing with insomnia over many years and eventually discussing her sleep with her doctor. In a 2022 Healthline interview, she recalled how she thought about sleep when she was younger: “You can go on two hours, three hours, four hours of sleep and you don’t feel the effects.” That quotation describes her past perspective; it is not medical guidance. Her account does not establish her current sleep status.
Healthline’s 2022 article also reported an estimate that approximately 30 percent of adults experience symptoms of insomnia. That is an article-reported estimate, not a finding specific to Aniston or a statistic independently verified here. Her reported routines or “sleep hacks” should not be treated as a recommended treatment. Anyone concerned about persistent sleep problems can discuss them with a qualified healthcare professional.

Has Jennifer Aniston spoken about IVF?
Yes. In a 2022 interview with Allure, Aniston said she had tried IVF while attempting to become pregnant and wished she had received guidance earlier about freezing her eggs. ABC News and CBS News reported her comments. ABC News reproduced her description: “It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road.”
Her disclosure does not establish clinical details or the causes or outcome of treatment beyond what she shared. In a later response covered by The Independent in 2025, Aniston objected to speculation about why she had not had children and said people did not know about her private experience trying to pursue a family. Her comments are a reminder not to treat assumptions about her family life as fact or to assign blame for it.

Do these disclosures provide a complete picture of her health?
No. The cited interviews and reports document selected experiences Aniston has discussed publicly; they do not establish a comprehensive list of health conditions or her present medical status. It would be inaccurate to infer diagnoses, causes, treatment outcomes, or current symptoms she has not disclosed.
