Sherman’s character has spent the day apparently unaware; the reveal is played as a scripted comedy bit, with her body pixelated.
What happens in the teaser?
Megan is practicing her lines when Sherman drops by. The promo first frames Sherman in close-up. Megan then points out that Sherman is completely naked, and the shot reveals her pixelated body.

Sherman says she has gone through the day riding trains, seeing coworkers and buying candy without noticing. Megan delivers the punchline: “Let me be the first to tell you: your whole WAP is out.” Sherman answers, “More like a DAP. Dry as a bone.”
What does the “WAP” joke refer to?
“WAP” references Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s song of the same name. Sherman’s “DAP” response turns the reference into a wordplay joke. The teaser’s nudity is only suggested through the scene and pixelation; it is not shown explicitly.
Which episode was the promo for?
The teaser promoted the October 15, 2022 episode of Saturday Night Live, for which Megan Thee Stallion served as both host and musical guest. Pitchfork’s report on the promo and NBC’s episode announcement identify the episode and its performers.
