LavaGS rejected the exploitation claim
LavaGS, the person named in the allegations, said, “I was never exploited or taken advantage of.” In an interview reported by Rolling Stone, he said creators who popularized the claims had twisted or misrepresented his story. Rolling Stone also reported that those creators denied wrongdoing. His account is distinct from the claims made by commentators and from Tyson’s own statement.
What did MrBeast do?
Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, said he was “disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts.” He announced that he was hiring an independent third party to investigate and said Tyson had been removed from the company and channel.
