VPCabs appears to have continued after Shark Tank: its website still presents virtual pinball cabinets, and an Arcade Artwork company page identifies VPcabs as a Rec Room World subsidiary. The deal is less clear. Published accounts agree Daymond John made an offer for 25% equity, but disagree on whether the investment was $200,000 or $250,000.
What happened to VPCabs?
VPCabs appeared on Shark Tank in season 7, episode 28, which the episode listing dates to May 13, 2016. The company’s own site also identifies May 13, 2016 as the date of its feature.
Since then, the brand has remained represented online by virtual pinball products. Its current-facing site lists the Ultra VP and Vertigo NXT cabinets. Arcade Artwork describes VPcabs as a subsidiary of Rec Room World in Columbus, Ohio. Those company pages show an ongoing brand and product presence, but they do not establish sales volume, delivery times, or financial health.
What deal did VPCabs make on Shark Tank?
Published accounts say Daymond John made a deal with founder Baker for 25% equity, but they conflict on the amount. BGR’s May 11, 2026 account says Baker sought $200,000 for 10%, John countered with $200,000 for 30%, and they settled at $200,000 for 25%. SlashGear’s February 19, 2025 account instead gives the ask and final investment as $250,000, with the same reported equity percentages.

The official product page confirms the Shark Tank appearance but does not state deal terms. Without a primary episode record establishing the amount, the two figures should not be treated as interchangeable or resolved by choosing one report.

VPCabs describes features such as a 4K display, 144 Hz refresh, force feedback, sound, and lighting on its product pages. Those are vendor specifications, not independently tested performance results. The pages do not provide a consistent model-by-model comparison of price, support, warranty, or shipping, so they are not enough to establish which cabinet is the better purchase.
What do reports say about VPCabs after the show?
SlashGear’s 2025 retrospective reports that VPCabs sold roughly 200 units and generated $750,000 in revenue during its first year and a half, with a reported net profit of $12,000 in 2014. It also gives annual cabinet sales of 300 to 500. These are historical figures attributed to SlashGear; they are not current sales figures or independently verified company disclosures.

A warranty PDF hosted by Snap-on says VPCabs will repair or replace parts found defective in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance during the warranty period stated in that document. Because that PDF is several years old, it should not be assumed to describe current coverage; check the terms attached to a present-day purchase.
