What happened to Theresa Nist’s wedding dress?
Nist wore a sequined Badgley Mischka gown when she married Turner in the ABC special The Golden Wedding. During the ceremony, one strap broke and dangled. E! reported that the break occurred at some point during a commercial break, while Us Weekly described the strap dangling shortly before the vows; the accounts do not establish a more exact moment. The reports say the ceremony went on without an apparent disruption and that Nist seemed unbothered. They do not say who handled the strap, whether it was repaired, or what happened backstage.
What was the gown like?
Coverage identifies the designer as Badgley Mischka and describes the dress as off the shoulder, sequined, and mermaid-style. E! notes a plunging neckline, fitted bodice, and tulle train; Us Weekly also mentions a sheer back. The reporting does not identify an exact model. E! News; Us Weekly
