What happened in the criminal case?
Wilson was extradited from Canada to face the case in Los Angeles. In November 2010, she entered a no-contest plea to assault with a deadly weapon. A no-contest plea is not the same as a guilty plea, so it is most accurate to describe the outcome in the terms reported rather than say she was convicted at trial.
Her sentence
In December 2010, a Los Angeles court sentenced Wilson to two years in California state prison. The sentence is the confirmed court outcome reported at the time.

Was she released or deported to Canada?
At sentencing, Wilson’s attorney estimated that credit for time already served could mean she would spend roughly six additional months in custody. Contemporary reports also said deportation to Canada was expected after her release. Neither the estimate nor the expected deportation confirms what ultimately happened: the available reporting does not establish her release date, whether she was deported, or her later whereabouts.

The reporting cited here ends with the 2010 sentence and the expectations described at that time. It does not provide a reliable later update about Wilson’s occupation, residence, or current location. Claims that she definitely served six months or was deported go beyond what those reports confirm.
