Robert Herjavec reportedly offered $500,000 for 25% of the company, but a March 2026 report said the deal never closed. Reports also conflict about whether Pillar Learning remained in business, and none of the reviewed sources verifies Codi’s current availability.
What was the Codi robot?
Pillar Learning marketed Codi as an interactive smart toy for children, designed to play songs and stories through buttons or voice commands. The company said the robot could play 200 free songs and stories and recommended it for children ages 12 months to 7 years. Those are the company’s product claims, not independent test results.
Pillar Learning also said its natural-language processing could have difficulty understanding young children who were still learning to pronounce words. The company described voice data as being kept on secure servers and said users could delete it; these statements reflect the product page and do not establish current privacy practices or guarantees. The company described Codi as genderless and presented the robot as a way to talk with children about digital safety and how robots differ from people. Pillar Learning’s product page

What deal did Codi receive, and did it close?
The tracker reports that Robert Herjavec offered $500,000 for 25% equity during the episode. That is an account of the on-air offer, not proof of a completed investment.
A BGR report published March 30, 2026, said the deal did not close after filming. Pillar Learning’s page says the founders “reeled in a deal,” but does not clarify whether the investment was finalized. The failure-to-close account is therefore secondary reporting, not a post-show confirmation from the company or Herjavec. BGR’s March 30, 2026 report

Is Pillar Learning still in business, and is Codi available?
The available reports do not agree about the company’s status. BGR reported on March 30, 2026, that Pillar Learning was still in business but Codi was sold out. The Shark Tank Companies tracker, updated March 3, 2026, labels Pillar Learning out of business and says Codi was not on Amazon. Those are dated secondary-source claims, and an accessible product page alone does not prove that the company is operating.
No reviewed source verifies current inventory. The March 2026 sold-out report is a snapshot from that time, not a current stock check; the tracker’s “not on Amazon” statement likewise does not establish whether Codi can be found elsewhere.

Pillar Learning’s page lists order tracking and support instructions, including the email address [email protected]. The sources do not establish whether that support channel is currently staffed or what help remains available. ABC’s Shark Tank page offers general guidance about claimed Shark Tank affiliations and notes that its product list is updated periodically; it does not confirm Codi’s current business status or stock.
