Evan Peters was not playing the MCU’s Pietro or a confirmed multiverse counterpart: Agatha used a magical necklace to control Ralph and give him superspeed.
Who was Ralph Bohner?
Ralph was an ordinary resident of Westview, the town Wanda had drawn into the Hex. Agatha controlled him and presented him to Wanda as Pietro, using his resemblance to the character—and his apparent speed—to make the deception convincing. A TIME recap of the finale describes the necklace Agatha used to control him and give him superspeed.
Evan Peters’s casting invited viewers to connect Ralph with the version of Quicksilver he played in the X-Men films. But the reveal in WandaVision identifies the man in Westview as Ralph, not as the MCU’s Pietro or an established multiverse visitor. The exact headline’s identification of Ralph is supported by an indexed listing of the 2024 ComicBookMovie.com article; the plot details are also described in the finale recap.
What happened to him when Agatha’s plan ended?
Agatha had used Ralph as part of her attempt to understand Wanda’s power. Once her control over him ended, he was no longer acting as Wanda’s supposed brother. The finale’s larger resolution is the end of the Hex: Wanda releases Westview’s residents from the roles and distress imposed on them, and Ralph is among the people freed from Agatha’s manipulation.

The cited finale coverage does not establish Ralph’s later life or show what happens to him after the Hex. It is therefore safest to say that he is freed from Agatha’s control, rather than claim a specific fate or future for him.
Why did Wanda end the Hex?
The Hex was a magically sustained world in which Wanda’s imagined sitcom life held Westview residents in assigned roles. Ending it freed the townspeople, but it also erased the magical family and world Wanda had created there. Head writer Jac Schaeffer described the choice as a bind: Wanda could keep tormenting innocent people or end the Hex and lose the family she had made. As Schaeffer put it, “The end of this show was always about acceptance.”

Wanda accepts that loss and leaves Westview as the Scarlet Witch, taking the Darkhold with her. That decision releases the residents; it does not undo what they experienced. Schaeffer and director Matt Shakman said the townspeople’s anger was intentional and that the ending was not meant to make everything right for Wanda.
What happened to the two Visions?

The show does not settle whether memories make White Vision fully identical to the Vision Wanda knew. Producer Mary Livanos said that question was left open, and the finale does not show White Vision reuniting with Wanda.

What does the post-credits scene reveal?
In the final post-credits scene, Wanda studies the Darkhold and hears Billy and Tommy calling for help. The moment points toward a continuing story, but it does not establish where the voices come from or what happens to the twins. The Los Angeles Times described this as one of the series’ two post-credits scenes in its March 5, 2021, finale report.
