Maddy Spidell and Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, reportedly dated from 2019 until their breakup in 2022. Public reporting does not establish a definitive, jointly confirmed reason for the split. Spidell later posted about a past relationship without naming Donaldson in the quoted remarks; news coverage connected those posts to him, but that identification is an inference. Her public Linktree presents her as a Los Angeles-based creator and lists social and shopping links, but does not confirm her current job.
When did Maddy Spidell and MrBeast break up?
Secondary reporting places the relationship between 2019 and 2022. A 2022 Rolling Stone profile, available here through a third-party reproduction of the article, reported that Donaldson had recently split from Spidell. Why did they split?
The available reporting does not establish a specific reason confirmed by both people. The reproduced Rolling Stone passage includes a view from Chris Tyson that Donaldson was focused on work. That is Tyson’s characterization, not a jointly confirmed explanation from Spidell and Donaldson, so it should not be treated as the settled cause.
What did Maddy Spidell say about MrBeast?
In August 2024, Spidell wrote about a past relationship in posts quoted by ComingSoon. In one reported Instagram Story, she said: “I do not aim to take anyone down, just simply and explicitly tell you that there are scary people out there, people who will hurt you, use you, spit you out and then tell you it’s your fault.” The statement was framed generally and did not name a person.

A reported follow-up post on X said: “Three years away from that weirdo, my skin is clear, my relationships and friendships are flourishing, I’m frolicking in a field.” The quoted sentence also does not name Donaldson. ComingSoon and other coverage connected the remarks to him, but that connection is media interpretation rather than an identification in the quoted wording. ComingSoon’s August 9, 2024 report.
What is Maddy Spidell doing now?
Her indexed Linktree describes her as a “wisconsin girl in LA” and lists Instagram and TikTok, along with links to an Amazon Storefront, Selkie, Revolve, LTK, and Allure Beauty Box. Those listings show what her public link page presents; they do not establish a particular current job, product partnership, or whether every linked offering remains available.

A 2023 entertainment article said an Instagram Story had described Spidell as having moved to Los Angeles, working a corporate job while building her personal brand, and developing healthy habits.
