Why is “Gangnam Style” back in the news?

The agency statement in 2025
In August 2025, police were investigating allegations that Psy had received prescriptions for Xanax and Stilnoct without in-person hospital visits and had other people collect the medication. In a statement quoted by Yonhap, P Nation said Psy had a chronic sleep disorder and took sleeping pills as prescribed by his doctor. The agency acknowledged that a third party had collected prescribed medication on some occasions, described that as a mistake, and denied that the prescriptions themselves were issued by proxy. The referral to prosecutors in 2026
