Drita D’Avanzo stepped back from public life after Mob Wives ended in 2016, then returned to reality television on House of Villains Season 3—and won. She has declined a proposed Mob Wives reboot appearance, but has not ruled out other television work. No next series is confirmed in the available interviews.
Where Drita D’Avanzo is now
After appearing on VH1’s Mob Wives from 2011 to 2016, D’Avanzo stepped away from public life and focused on raising her daughters, according to OK!’s September 2026 interview. She won House of Villains Season 3
D’Avanzo won the season after the returning castaways chose her over Kate Chastain and Christine Quinn. Speaking after the finale, she told TV Insider, “Shockingly, I did. I mean, I didn’t see that coming.” The outcome marked a high-profile return to reality television after years away from it.
Why she turned down the Mob Wives reboot
D’Avanzo declined an invitation to appear in a proposed Mob Wives reboot. She told TV Insider, “it would never be Mob Wives.” TMZ reported in February 2026 that she had been asked to participate and was not interested. At the time of that report, the project was described as in development, with details still being worked out; it did not establish whether the reboot was ultimately produced or who would appear.

Her memories of Mob Wives are complicated
D’Avanzo has described the original series as a difficult period in her life. In OK!, she said, “When I was doing Mob Wives, I felt awful,” and recalled, “I wasn’t happy, but I look back now, and I think, ‘Wow. I can’t believe I endured all of that.’” Those are her personal reflections, not a definitive account of everyone’s experience on the show.
In an April 2026 interview with PAPER, she also discussed bullying on Mob Wives and the way fans connected with her. When asked about being cast as a villain on her new show, she recalled her first reaction: “My first reaction was like, ‘What do you mean? I beat villains up.’”

Is Drita D’Avanzo returning to TV again?
She has left the door open to other reality television, but has not announced a specific next project. Asked by TV Insider about future opportunities, she answered “Maybe,” while making clear that another Mob Wives appearance was not what she had in mind. In OK!’s September 2026 interview, she also did not rule out The Traitors. Neither comment confirms casting or a deal.
TMZ’s February 2026 report also said a scripted project of D’Avanzo’s was expected to seek buyers in March. That was a development-stage report, not confirmation that a network or streamer bought or produced the project. For now, House of Villains Season 3 is the confirmed television return, and a subsequent series has not been named in the cited interviews.
