In Instagram posts summarized by The Daily Beast on September 8, 2026, Glanville said an MRI and ultrasound had given her answers. She described a technician and radiologist as seeing something moving. Her caption listed highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis. These are diagnoses she reported; the article did not provide underlying test records or an attributable statement from a treating clinician confirming them.
Glanville also described a fungal ball in her face, removal of metals from old dental work, further implant surgery, and a plan for four to six months of daily IV treatment. She said the treatment had brought little improvement so far. These details describe her account of her diagnosis and care, not independently verified findings or outcomes.
What explanations has she given over time?
Glanville’s public explanations have changed. In February 2026, she attributed a facial infection to silicone from damaged breast implants clogging her lymph nodes, according to the Los Angeles Times. The paper also recounted her earlier facial swelling, speech impairment, tooth loss, and her account of consulting 21 doctors. Her implant explanation was her reported belief; the coverage does not establish that silicone caused her facial symptoms.

Earlier entertainment coverage also discussed a suspected parasite and a benign tumor in one facial lymph node. In June 2026, Glanville reportedly addressed the benign tumor on her podcast. That reported finding has not been established as an explanation for all her symptoms. The claims should not be collapsed into a single diagnosis: the reports recount different statements at different times, and none establishes a definitive cause for the full set of symptoms.
What treatment has she described?
In her September update, Glanville described daily IV treatment, further dental and implant procedures, and a treatment period of four to six months. The Independent reported that she said the care was costing her about $3,300–$6,000 per month even with insurance, and quoted her saying, “The treatment has NOT been easy and so far I’ve had very little improvement.” The amount and progress are her account, as reported by The Independent on September 9, 2026.

No. The available reporting supports saying that fans have speculated, but it does not establish any fan theory as a medical explanation. A photograph cannot confirm an infection, parasite, implant-related cause, or any of the diagnoses Glanville has discussed.
