Bron Breakker defeated Jey Uso to regain the Intercontinental Championship in the main event of WWE Raw on October 21, 2024. The finish involved interference from Jacob Fatu, while other notable developments included two tag-team tournament wins, a disqualification in the women’s division, a Seth Rollins–Bronson Reed brawl and Lilian Garcia’s return as ring announcer.
Breakker regained the Intercontinental Championship
The October 21 episode—Raw’s 1,639th—aired live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Its main event, reported as lasting 19 minutes and 35 seconds, ended with Bron Breakker defeating Jey Uso for the title, according to Pro Wrestling Dot Net’s recap.
Jey hit his Uso Splash, but Breakker kicked out. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa then came to the apron, prompting Adam Pearce, producers and referees to intervene. During the distraction, Jacob Fatu delivered a Samoan Drop to Jey on the announce table. Breakker got Jey back into the ring, hit a spear and scored the pin.
The recap presents Fatu’s interference as the direct cause of Jey’s loss, with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa also involved at ringside. The title change therefore served as both the episode’s defining surprise and a development in the ongoing Bloodline story.

Jason Powell, Pro Wrestling Dot Net’s editor and the author of the recap, assessed the show as “Overall, a good show capped off with a title change.” He also called the Bloodline interference predictable but consistent with the story being told about Jey and the group. Those are Powell’s judgments, not a consensus view.
