What type of cancer was Dave Coulier diagnosed with?
Coulier, the actor and comedian known for Full House, publicly disclosed on November 13, 2024, that he had Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He said doctors identified it as an aggressive B-cell lymphoma. The diagnosis and subtype are based on Coulier’s public statements as reported by news outlets, not independent access to his medical records. Global News reported his initial disclosure.
What symptoms and tests did he describe?
Coulier said his symptoms began after a respiratory illness in October 2024. He described rapid lymph-node swelling, including a lump in his groin that grew to about the size of a golf ball. He said doctors arranged CT and PET scans and a biopsy before telling him he had lymphoma. These details describe his experience; they are not a diagnostic checklist for other people.
What treatment did Coulier report?
When he announced the diagnosis, Coulier said he had already undergone three surgeries and begun chemotherapy. In a March 31, 2025 report, Global News said he completed his sixth and final chemotherapy round in late February.

Side effects he described
Coulier said fatigue worsened during treatment and reported nausea, dizziness, neuropathy, and cognitive fog. He also described becoming less able to get up, walk around, and remain active. These were his reported side effects, not a claim that all people receiving lymphoma treatment experience the same effects.
How he described the effect on his family
In the March 2025 report, Coulier reflected on the toll illness and treatment took on relatives, saying the effect on family members was what would stay with him. His remarks offer a personal account of that experience rather than a general description of every family’s response.

On December 2, 2025, ABC News reported that Coulier had completed treatment for Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and had a separate cancer diagnosis. ABC News’s report distinguishes the later diagnosis from his lymphoma; it should not be described as a recurrence or as the same cancer.
