Australian tennis player Angelina Graovac posted two general messages about negativity and criticism in December 2020, after reports that she had joined OnlyFans. Neither caption mentions OnlyFans. PerthNow and News.com.au presented the posts as a response to the coverage, but the captions themselves do not confirm that interpretation.
What did Angelina Graovac say?
PerthNow reproduced two captions attributed to Graovac’s Instagram posts. The first read: “There is too much negativity in the world, do your best to make sure you aren’t contributing to it.” The second said: “be so busy improving yourself that you have no time to criticise others”. News.com.au reproduced the same statements in its 30 December 2020 report.
These are captions relayed by news outlets, not quotations from a direct interview. Neither explicitly refers to OnlyFans, the reports about her account, or the criticism described in the coverage.
Why were the posts described as a response?
PerthNow’s 30 December 2020 headline framed the posts as Graovac “returning serve” after backlash. News.com.au also covered the Instagram posts in the context of the account reports. That context explains the headlines, but it does not establish that Graovac intended the captions as a direct rebuttal.
#1 Best Overall

- Optical Zoom: 4x optical zoom with a 27mm wide angle lens for flexible framing indoors or outdoors
- Full HD Video: Records 1080p video for travel clips, family moments, or simple vlogging
- Memory Support: Works with Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 512GB
- LCD Screen and Battery: 2.7in LCD screen with 2 AA alkaline batteries for convenient on-the-go use
The underlying account claim was itself reported with attribution: PerthNow’s 28 December story said European reports claimed Graovac had joined OnlyFans. The reviewed coverage does not turn that secondhand report into a direct statement by Graovac.
What was reported about her tennis career at the time?
In its 30 December 2020 article, PerthNow described Graovac as 19, from New South Wales, and said she had turned professional in 2018. It reported that she had won nine of 37 career singles matches and was ranked 1171 at that point. Those are historical figures from the report, not a current ranking or record.

- 16MP Sensor: Captures detailed photos with a CMOS sensor for everyday shooting

- Full HD Video: Records 1080p video for travel clips, family moments, or simple vlogging

- Rechargeable Battery: Included LB-012 lithium-ion battery charges in the camera over USB with the supplied adapter in about 2 hours; charge it for at least 4 hours before first use to maximize battery life
The financial figures in PerthNow’s two reports also differ in wording: the 28 December article gave $3,043 in prize money, while the follow-up described about $3,500 in income. The articles do not reconcile those amounts, so they should not be treated as interchangeable or as a single precise figure.

The relevant coverage appeared from 28 to 30 December 2020, with Blick publishing a follow-up on 1 January 2021. Those reports do not establish Graovac’s current professional status or ranking as of 2026. The reliable takeaway is narrower: contemporaneous outlets reproduced two posts about negativity and criticism and interpreted them in light of reports about OnlyFans.
