Did Minnie Driver see Matt Damon again?
Yes. Driver said she saw Damon on a beach in the summer of 2020. In an interview published by Audacy on September 3, 2021, she recalled: “That was last summer and it was actually very nice to see him, and his kids, and his wife and it all felt quite middle-aged actually, which was reassuring.”

In 2022, Driver discussed revisiting the relationship in an essay for her memoir, Managing Expectations: A Memoir in Essays. She said she wanted to tell her own version after years of the story being filtered through other people’s accounts. That is a later reflection, not a change to the timeline of the 2020 encounter.
In a 2022 interview, she called the romance “a sweet romance” and “a sweet love affair,” while describing its ending as “combustible.” Those are Driver’s retrospective words; they do not establish every detail of the breakup. The Irish Times on Driver’s memoir · 2022 interview
