Now You See Me: Now You Don’t topped the U.S. box office for November 14–16, 2025, opening with a reported $21.3 million. The Running Man followed in second place with $17.0 million, a $4.3 million gap between the two films.
How the two films ranked
The weekend figures below are domestic estimates for November 14–16, 2025—not current standings or final lifetime grosses. Rotten Tomatoes’ chart attributed its figures to Box Office Mojo, while Boxoffice Pro separately reported Sunday studio estimates.
| Film | Domestic weekend gross | Reported screens or locations | Per-screen average | Early global total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Now You See Me: Now You Don’t | $21.3 million (Rotten Tomatoes chart, 2025; attributed to Box Office Mojo) | 3,403 screens (Boxoffice Pro Sunday studio estimates, 2025) | $6,259 (Boxoffice Pro Sunday studio estimates, 2025) | $75.5 million opening-period total (Boxoffice Pro, 2025 report) |
| The Running Man | $17.0 million (Rotten Tomatoes chart, 2025; attributed to Box Office Mojo) | 3,534 locations (Boxoffice Pro Sunday studio estimates, 2025) | $4,810 (Boxoffice Pro Sunday studio estimates, 2025) | $28.2 million early global total (Boxoffice Pro, 2025 report) |
The domestic gross difference is $4.3 million, calculated from the reported $21.3 million and $17.0 million estimates. Boxoffice Pro’s report gave the weekend a total three-day domestic gross of $75,212,496 in Sunday studio estimates; it should not be treated as a final audited figure.
What the screen and location figures show
Boxoffice Pro listed Now You See Me: Now You Don’t on 3,403 screens and The Running Man at 3,534 locations. The first film therefore had the higher reported per-screen average—$6,259 versus $4,810—even though the listed count was lower. The comparison is not perfectly like-for-like because the report uses “screens” for one film and “locations” for the other.

Keep domestic and global grosses separate
The $21.3 million and $17.0 million figures refer to the domestic weekend. Boxoffice Pro’s $75.5 million and $28.2 million figures are early global totals reported during the films’ opening period, not final worldwide grosses. The different markets and reporting windows mean these amounts should not be compared as if they were the same measure.
