Executive producer Han Jun-hee has described a possible high-school-to-graduation timeframe, while star Park Ji-hoon has floated students facing adults and Su-ho rejoining Si-eun’s friends. Those are ideas, not an announced plot. Although the original title names Choi Min-yeong too, no specific season-three story pitch from him is established in the cited coverage.
Is Weak Hero Class 3 confirmed?
Not in the status report published by TIME in May 2025, which said there had been no official announcement. Han Jun-hee said continuation depended in part on how viewers responded to Class 2. Because that report is dated, it establishes what was reported then—not whether a later renewal announcement has since been made.
There is no confirmed Class 3 synopsis, production plan, release date, or cast roster in the reporting described here. The ideas below should be read as proposals and informed speculation, not Netflix-confirmed story details.
What story has Han Jun-hee suggested?
After final mixing on Class 2, executive producer Han Jun-hee and director You Su-min discussed what another installment might look like. Han’s clearest suggestion was a story following Yeon Si-eun through his third year of high school and on to graduation. He put it conditionally: “If there’s a Class 3, we are ready to cover the period from Si-eun’s third year of high school to graduation.”

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That span would give a continuation room to explore how Si-eun’s friendships and choices change as school draws to a close. Han has also described friendship as central to the series, rather than treating the next season as simply a bigger succession of fights.
What ideas has Park Ji-hoon raised?
Students facing adults
Park has said he imagines what it would be like for students to go up against adults: “That kind of question keeps popping into my head.” This points toward a possible increase in the gap between the protagonists and their opponents, but it is Park’s personal speculation—not evidence that the writers have chosen an adult-crime plot.

Su-ho joining Si-eun’s friends
In a separate interview, Park imagined Su-ho joining Si-eun’s newer circle and the group becoming a gang. He also acknowledged that he did not know whether Class 3 would happen. His idea makes the group’s formation and friendship a possible focus; it does not confirm that Su-ho will return.
How could a continuation follow Class 2?
Marie Claire describes Class 2 as resolving the conflict between Si-eun’s group and the Union, then using a mid-credits scene to introduce a new threat. The outlet suggests that a confrontation involving an adult crime group could follow. That is an interpretation of the ending, not an official synopsis or confirmed season-three premise.

Taken together, the comments support several possible directions, but not one settled storyline:
| Story question | What is supported | What remains unconfirmed |
|---|---|---|
| When would it take place? | Han Jun-hee proposed Si-eun’s third year of high school through graduation. | No season-three timeline has been announced. |
| Who might the friends face? | Park Ji-hoon has imagined students confronting adults. | A specific criminal organization or adult-villain plot is not confirmed. |
| Could Su-ho rejoin the group? | Park imagined Su-ho joining Si-eun’s newer friends. | His return is not confirmed. |
| Would it adapt the webtoon? | Marie Claire says Class 2 drew more directly from the webtoon than Class 1 and condensed its story. | The outlet predicts a possible Class 3 would likely be original; that is a forecast, not an announced adaptation plan. |
What does Choi Min-yeong’s role in the discussion amount to?
Choi Min-yeong plays Seo Jun-tae and is part of the principal group. The available interviews identify him in that role, but do not establish a specific storyline pitch from him for a third season. The distinction matters: the title’s mention of both actors should not be taken to mean they jointly proposed a complete plot.

What is the source material?
Weak Hero is a completed digital action comic on WEBTOON, written by SEOPASS and illustrated by RAZEN. Its premise centers on a calculating new student challenging the order in a school run by bullies. Marie Claire’s account of Class 2’s closer use of—and compression of—the webtoon helps explain why a future season might have to chart its own course, but any claim that it will be wholly original remains prediction rather than fact.
