Audi’s 60-second “Let It Go” commercial stars actor Maisie Williams singing the Frozen song while driving through traffic in the all-new Audi e-tron Sportback. It was made for Super Bowl LIV, which was played on February 2, 2020 in the United States.

When it aired and why the date differs by country
Audi announced the campaign in late January 2020, ahead of the game. The iSpot listing places Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020, which is the date to use for a U.S. broadcast. Audi Netherlands’ announcement refers to the Big Game as Monday, February 3, which reflects how the event was framed in a European time context. Both dates describe the same game.
What Audi says the campaign is about
Audi presented the spot as the launch of a global campaign about its long-term ambition to shape a new era of sustainable mobility. The Audi Netherlands announcement quotes Sven Schuwirth, who was then head of Brand Audi, Digital Business and Customer Experience: “The most important ‘date’ on the American football calendar is a perfect opportunity to show TV viewers around the world how Audi has mapped out its path to a sustainable future.”

That is the company’s own framing. The sources describe the ad as positioning the move away from old habits toward electric mobility, but they do not provide an independent assessment of the e-tron Sportback’s environmental impact or lifecycle emissions. If you are looking for evidence on the car’s sustainability, the commercial itself does not supply it.
