No: the reported $20,000 Coachella curfew fine was charged to Goldenvoice, the festival organizer—not to Travis Scott personally. Scott’s April 12, 2025 set reportedly ended at about 1:03 a.m., three minutes after the 1 a.m. curfew.
Who was charged the $20,000 fine?
The City of Indio charged Goldenvoice under its festival agreement after the curfew overrun, according to Digital Music News and Radio 88.8, both reporting on April 28, 2025. Those reports identify the organizer as the party charged; they do not say Scott was personally fined or paid the money.

What happened at the curfew?
Scott performed on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Reports say his set ended at approximately 1:03 a.m., three minutes after Coachella’s 1 a.m. curfew. The reported agreement called for a $20,000 charge for the first five minutes past curfew.
Digital Music News attributed the delay in Scott’s start to Green Day’s preceding set running late because of a fireworks issue. That is a reported explanation for the schedule, not evidence that the city assigned personal fault or waived the organizer’s contractual penalty.

Was it the only curfew fine in 2025?
Radio 88.8 reported that the City of Indio said this was the only curfew fine issued across the 2025 Coachella weekends and Stagecoach. The city’s statement, as relayed by Radio 88.8, covered all three festival weekends, with Stagecoach ending April 27.
Does the fine show Travis Scott has financial woes?
No. The reported penalty establishes a charge to Goldenvoice under its agreement with the city; it does not establish Scott’s personal financial condition, debts, losses, or net worth. The available reports provide no reliable figure documenting personal financial trouble. The headline’s suggestion that the fine is “the least of his financial woes” therefore cannot be treated as a verified fact.

| How much? | $20,000 for the first five minutes past curfew, as reported. |

The available account is based on secondary reporting by Digital Music News and Radio 88.8, rather than the underlying City of Indio agreement or a direct city record. Their reporting supports the distinction between the organizer’s curfew charge and Scott’s personal finances; it does not establish more than that.
