Yes. Paramount+ confirmed in July 2024 that Halo would not receive a third season on its service. That confirms the end of the show’s Paramount+ run, but it does not establish that the series was cancelled everywhere: producers were reported to be seeking another outlet, and the available sources do not confirm whether they found one.
What Paramount+ confirmed
On July 19, 2024, Paramount+ told Variety that Halo “will not move forward with a third season on the service.” The wording is specific: Paramount+ would not continue the series for season three on its platform.

Variety also reported that Xbox, Amblin Television and 343 Industries planned to look for another outlet. That was a reported plan at the time, not confirmation of a new deal. The available sources do not establish whether another network or streaming service later picked up the show.
Is Halo season 3 happening?
There is no confirmed third-season home in the available information. Paramount+’s official title page lists two seasons and their episodes. That reflects the seasons presented on the page; it does not settle whether a third season could appear elsewhere.
#1 Best Overall
So the clearest answer is: season 3 is not continuing on Paramount+, and a move to another outlet has not been confirmed by the sources available here. It would be inaccurate to say either that another service has picked it up or that the story and franchise have been cancelled everywhere.
What the two released seasons cover
Halo is a live-action drama based on the Xbox game franchise. Its story is set in the 26th century, during a conflict between humanity and the Covenant. Amblin’s series page identifies season one as a 10-episode season.
