Reports said Penta was hurt during his November 24, 2025, WWE Raw match against Solo Sikoa, and that the bout ended early after medical staff intervened. The same reporting said Solo was already planned to win the Last Time Is Now tournament match and advance to face Gunther; the reported change was the match’s length, not its outcome. WWE has not publicly confirmed a diagnosis or the reported finish plan in the sources cited here.
What happened during Penta vs. Solo Sikoa?
Penta and Solo Sikoa met on the November 24, 2025, episode of WWE Raw in the Last Time Is Now tournament. A November 25 report said Penta landed awkwardly outside the ring and WWE medical staff stopped the match early. The account described an injury incident, but it did not establish a medical diagnosis or its severity. The Sportster report, syndicated by Yardbarker, attributed its account of the incident and backstage response to reporting rather than an official WWE medical statement.
That report also said Penta wanted to put his shoulder back into place, but medical staff reportedly refused. This detail does not confirm that his shoulder was dislocated or otherwise identify the injury.
Who was supposed to win the match?
The report attributed to Dave Meltzer that Solo was planned to win and advance to face Gunther. Under that account, the early stoppage changed how long the match lasted, not the intended winner. That is a reported plan, not an officially confirmed WWE booking decision; the match’s reported planned outcome should not be confused with a separately confirmed result.
