The same IMDb entry says Stanley wrote “I Still Love You,” from KISS’s Creatures of the Night, after Dixon ended the engagement. That song connection is also an attributed claim from the biography, not a confirmed account from Stanley. IMDb’s Donna Dixon biography is the source for both details.
How Dixon met Dan Aykroyd
Dixon met Aykroyd while they were making Doctor Detroit. A United Press International profile published on July 30, 1983, and reproduced by the Manchester History Center, describes their friendship developing during production. Dixon recalled: “We became friends during production, but no flirting or even a hint of romance.” The quote is her recollection as presented in that contemporaneous profile; it does not establish the timing or details of the reported Stanley engagement.
