Vultr पर VM होना अपने-आप यह नहीं बताता कि stream वहीं से भेजी जा रही है। इसलिए पहले OBS चलने की जगह पहचानें; उसके बाद उसी रास्ते का निदान करें।
पहले समझें कि कौन-सा रास्ता जाँचना है
OBS के अनुसार dropped frames का अर्थ है कि remote server तक connection अस्थिर है या connection आपके निर्धारित bitrate को बनाए नहीं रख पा रहा। OBS stream buffering से बचने के लिए frames छोड़ता है। यह अपने-आप GPU या encoder की समस्या का संकेत नहीं है। OBS की connection troubleshooting guide network counter और उसके संभावित कारण समझाती है।
- स्थानीय OBS: आपके PC से router/ISP और फिर YouTube ingest तक का outbound path जाँचें। घर या ऑफिस का Wi-Fi, VPN और दूसरे उपयोगकर्ताओं का traffic इस रास्ते को प्रभावित कर सकता है।
- Vultr पर OBS: Vultr instance से YouTube ingest तक का outbound path जाँचें। आपके स्थानीय कंप्यूटर की Ethernet cable इस cloud-to-YouTube connection को नहीं बदलती।

पहचानें कि समस्या network की है या encoding की
- OBS में View > Stats खोलें और test stream के दौरान Dropped Frames (Network) तथा connection indicator देखें। OBS के संस्करण के अनुसार मेनू के नाम थोड़े बदल सकते हैं।
- उसी समय YouTube Live Control Room में stream health और error संदेश देखें। YouTube के error संदेश timestamp सहित दिख सकते हैं। YouTube की error-message guide bitrate, codec, resolution और keyframe से जुड़े संदेशों का अर्थ बताती है।
- यदि OBS rendering lag या encoder overload दिखाता है, तो उसे network loss न मानें। GPU/rendering और encoding प्रदर्शन के लिए अलग निदान चाहिए; OBS की encoding-performance guide देखें।
- एक छोटा test stream चलाएँ और OBS counter तथा YouTube health message का समय मिलाएँ। इससे यह अलग करने में मदद मिलेगी कि frame loss जारी है या YouTube किसी configuration error की सूचना दे रहा है।
Bitrate को उपलब्ध स्थिर upload के अनुरूप रखें
Upload speed उसी मशीन से मापें जिस पर OBS चल रहा है। तेज download speed यह साबित नहीं करती कि outbound upload पर्याप्त है। YouTube भी stream भेजने वाले connection की upload क्षमता मापने को कहता है।
शुरुआती planning के लिए OBS total upload speed के 75% तक bitrate रखने का सुझाव देता है। YouTube कुल stream bitrate के ऊपर लगभग 20% upload headroom रखने की सलाह देता है। ये दिशा-निर्देश हैं, Vultr network की SLA या किसी खास route की क्षमता की गारंटी नहीं। Shared connection पर दूसरे उपयोगकर्ताओं और सेवाओं का traffic उपलब्ध क्षमता घटा सकता है। स्रोत: OBS connection guide और YouTube streaming tips।
YouTube Help के encoder settings पेज पर प्रकाशित H.264 video bitrate की कुछ अनुशंसाएँ नीचे हैं। ये video bitrate हैं, कुल audio-plus-video network traffic नहीं; audio तथा अन्य traffic के लिए भी headroom रखें। तालिका 3 अक्टूबर 2026 को देखी गई YouTube guidance पर आधारित है।

पूरा resolution, frame rate और codec चुनने से पहले YouTube encoder settings में संबंधित संयोजन देखें। उपलब्ध स्थिर upload से अधिक bitrate रखने पर counter बढ़ सकता है, भले ही आपने YouTube की किसी एक अनुशंसित संख्या का पालन किया हो।

YouTube का वर्तमान encoder guidance RTMP/RTMPS, CBR और 2 सेकंड का recommended keyframe interval बताता है; keyframe interval 4 सेकंड से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए। अपने OBS output को इन अपेक्षाओं से मिलाएँ और Live Control Room में दिखे error को प्राथमिकता से ठीक करें। YouTube encoder settings में codec और resolution के अनुसार bitrate भी देखें।
यदि समस्या bitrate, codec, resolution या keyframe से जुड़ी है, तो stream को दोबारा शुरू करने से पहले वही setting ठीक करें। YouTube समान audio और motion वाला test करने और stream चलने पर health देखने की सलाह देता है।

Network कारणों को एक-एक करके अलग करें
एक समय में एक बदलाव करें, test stream और OBS stats में परिणाम दर्ज करें, और असर न हो तो setting को default पर लौटाएँ। इससे पता चलेगा कि सुधार किस बदलाव से आया।
- Local OBS पर Wi-Fi: Ethernet से परीक्षण करें। OBS streaming के लिए Wi-Fi को संभावित रूप से अस्थिर मानता है और wired connection सुझाता है। स्थानीय मशीन के लिए उपयुक्त Cat 6 Ethernet cable उपयोगी हो सकती है; इससे Vultr instance और YouTube के बीच का route ठीक नहीं होगा।
- VPN: अस्थायी रूप से बंद करके तुलना करें। यदि फर्क दिखे, तो VPN route को कारण की दिशा में संकेत मानें; स्थायी बदलाव से पहले अपने संगठन की सुरक्षा नीति देखें।
- Firewall या antivirus: नियंत्रित परीक्षण करें कि security software connection को बाधित तो नहीं कर रहा। यदि कारण मिले, तो OBS के लिए उचित exception जोड़ें और सुरक्षा software फिर चालू रखें—इसे स्थायी रूप से बंद न छोड़ें।
- Network drivers और utilities: पुराने network drivers तथा bandwidth या traffic को प्राथमिकता देने वाले bundled utilities जाँचें; ऐसे औज़ार stream traffic को प्रभावित कर सकते हैं।
- दूसरा YouTube ingest/server: OBS में उपलब्ध अलग ingest/server से test करें और परिणाम दर्ज करें। किसी एक endpoint पर सुधार मिलने का अर्थ यह नहीं कि अन्य routes भी समान होंगे।
- OBS network options: Windows पर Network Optimizations और TCP pacing को परीक्षण के रूप में आजमाया जा सकता है। Bind to IP को Default रखें। IPv4 Only को केवल test के लिए चुनें; असर न हो तो IPv4/IPv6 default पर लौटें।
- Dynamic Bitrate Adjustment: congestion के दौरान OBS bitrate घटा सकता है, जिससे dropped frames कम हो सकते हैं, लेकिन कम bitrate से दृश्य गुणवत्ता घट सकती है। यह network समस्या का मूल समाधान नहीं है।

Vultr के billing दस्तावेज़ों के अनुसार cloud resource से internet तक का outbound data transfer usage में गिना जाता है; inbound transfer metered नहीं है। Vultr के bandwidth-cap दस्तावेज़ में खाते के लिए 2 TB monthly free bandwidth allocation, instance plan के allocation के अतिरिक्त, बताया गया है। यही दस्तावेज़ सीमा से अधिक उपयोग के लिए $0.01 प्रति GB overage rate बताता है। ये Vultr के 16 दिसंबर 2025 को अपडेट किए गए दस्तावेज़ों के आंकड़े हैं; वर्तमान billing स्थिति अपने console में जाँचें।

Vultr console के Bandwidth Usage पेज पर billing cycle, top subscriptions और overage देखें। Usage की गणना, bandwidth caps, overage rate और usage dashboard के दस्तावेज़ विवरण देते हैं। कुल transfer या overage billing का संकेत है, लेकिन वह अपने-आप किसी खास क्षण के dropped frames या packet loss का कारण सिद्ध नहीं करता।

यदि stream Vultr VM से नहीं निकल रही, तो Vultr transfer dashboard आपके स्थानीय OBS के outbound connection का निदान नहीं करेगा। यदि OBS Vultr पर है, तो स्थानीय Wi-Fi बदलना cloud-to-YouTube route का परीक्षण नहीं है।
