What is the story about?
Disney’s synopsis follows a rebooted Vision who is hiding after escaping people who wanted to weaponize him. When a bounty is placed on his head, he goes on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be his son reincarnate. That possible connection is presented as a question, not a confirmed identity.

Vision also confronts AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron. Disney+ describes the setup as “A mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son joins the fugitive Avenger on a search for answers,” in its guide dated 7 October 2026.
How does it connect to WandaVision and Agatha All Along?
Disney describes VisionQuest as the final chapter of a trilogy that began with WandaVision (2021) and continued with Agatha All Along (2024). The connection resumes the story of White Vision from the WandaVision finale.
At the S.W.O.R.D. base, White Vision was Vision’s rebuilt body, reactivated as a weapon; Wanda’s Vision was a separate creation. Wanda’s Vision unlocked White Vision’s suppressed memories, after which White Vision left. VisionQuest follows the rebooted Vision who emerged from that encounter.
