Qué dijo Valeria Márquez durante la transmisión
Según la transcripción citada por People en Español, Márquez habló de una persona que había ido antes al salón preguntando por ella y que quería entregarle algo personalmente. Después reaccionó con preocupación: “Güey, a lo mejor me iban a matar”. También preguntó: “¿Me iban a levantar? ¿O qué?”, y dijo que quería irse. La redacción de las frases varía ligeramente entre los reportes; estas citas corresponden a la versión atribuida a People en Español.
El relato permite afirmar que manifestó temor ante lo que le habían contado sobre la visita previa. No permite concluir que conociera un plan de asesinato, que supiera quién podía estar detrás de la visita o que anticipara cuándo ocurriría un ataque.
Qué ocurrió en el salón de Zapopan
El 13 de mayo de 2025, alrededor de las 18:30, se reportó que Márquez, de 23 años, había sido asesinada a tiros en su salón de belleza, situado sobre avenida Servidor Público, en la colonia Real del Carmen, Zapopan. De acuerdo con el relato de la Fiscalía del Estado de Jalisco reproducido por Infobae, un hombre entró al negocio y presuntamente le disparó. La Fiscalía informó entonces que investigaba la muerte conforme al protocolo de feminicidio; eso describe el protocolo de investigación, no una determinación judicial definitiva sobre el caso.

Qué se sabía públicamente de la investigación
En una declaración del 15 de mayo de 2025 citada por El Financiero, la Fiscalía dijo que en la carpeta no había una imputación directa contra una persona específica. Los reportes de ese momento señalaron que se estaban reuniendo indicios, incluidos videos y publicaciones en redes sociales. Esa información refleja el estado público de la investigación comunicado entonces, no una actualización confirmada de su situación actual.
El mismo reporte de Infobae citó a Denis Rodríguez, portavoz de la Fiscalía, diciendo: “El agresor llegó a preguntar por la víctima. Es decir, aparentemente no le conocía.” Rodríguez añadió que la posibilidad de que el atacante hubiera sido contratado no era concluyente. Esa observación atribuida al portavoz no identifica a un autor intelectual ni confirma que el crimen fuera por encargo.

Qué no permiten afirmar las versiones sobre amenazas
Tras el asesinato circularon reportes sobre presuntas amenazas atribuidas a una expareja. La información citada aquí no establece que esa persona participara en el ataque, lo ordenara o tuviera relación con quien disparó. Tampoco basta con que Márquez expresara miedo para atribuir responsabilidad a alguien. Sin una conclusión oficial o judicial verificable, no corresponde presentar rumores, mensajes reportados o hipótesis como hechos.
La respuesta más precisa a si temía por su vida es que, según las palabras transcritas de su transmisión, expresó temor y manifestó que quería irse. Lo que esas palabras no resuelven es quién la mató, por qué ocurrió el ataque o si alguien lo organizó.
