O gshow também destacou a arrancada de Davi: segundo a reportagem, ele tinha 52 seguidores quando foi anunciado como candidato a uma vaga no programa e passou de três milhões em menos de um mês. A POPline, por sua vez, informou 3,9 milhões de ganho para Davi e 3,5 milhões para Beatriz em seu snapshot próximo ao de 8 de fevereiro.
O que os números comparam — e o que não comparam
O recorte é o Instagram. As matérias comparam o número de seguidores no Big Day, em 5 de janeiro de 2024, com uma contagem feita até o fechamento da publicação, por volta de 8 de fevereiro. Portanto, “ganho” não é o total de seguidores que cada participante tinha ao final, nem soma de seguidores em diferentes redes.

Há uma diferença entre o relato do gshow sobre os 52 seguidores de Davi quando foi anunciado como candidato e a referência da POPline a zero no Big Day. As matérias também apresentam pequenas diferenças em algumas contagens: a POPline, por exemplo, registrou 1,8 milhão de ganho para Isabelle, enquanto o Aconteceu Bicas informou 1,7 milhão. Horário de coleta, arredondamento ou mudanças na contagem podem explicar parte da variação, mas as publicações não apontam uma causa única.
Por que os totais gerais publicados não batem?
O Aconteceu Bicas estimou aproximadamente 15 milhões de novos seguidores somados entre os participantes. A POPline publicou, no dia seguinte, uma chamada de mais de 24 milhões. Como as matérias não detalham de forma suficiente os horários de coleta e o cálculo de cada soma, esses totais não devem ser combinados nem tratados como uma única contagem reconciliada.

Assim, a leitura mais segura é considerar cada número como um retrato aproximado publicado por um veículo em fevereiro de 2024. Os dados mostram quem liderava o crescimento naquele recorte, mas não demonstram que algum comportamento específico dentro do programa tenha causado o aumento.
