The two new names that matter most are Neal McDonough as Cal Thresher and Rich Ting as Jackie Ming. Season 2 premiered in the United States and Canada on September 15, 2024, so the cast details below reflect Paramount’s 2024 season announcement and the official season-two captions.
What season 2 is about
Paramount’s June 26, 2024 announcement sets up the premise. Dwight, a New York mafia capo nicknamed “The General,” is released after 25 years in prison and exiled to Tulsa, where he builds a crew and a criminal operation. Season 2 picks up with Dwight and his crew working to hold that territory. In Paramount’s words: “In season two, Dwight (Stallone) and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim.”

The announcement also says the crew faces pressure from the Kansas City mob and a powerful local businessman, and that Dwight still has unfinished business in New York. That phrasing is Paramount’s season description, not a quotation from a named person.

New rivals in season 2
Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough)
Cal Thresher is one of the two new names official season-two captions highlight as rivals to the crew. The season announcement does not say whether Thresher is the powerful local businessman it mentions, so avoid assuming that link unless a later official source confirms it.
Rank #2
Jackie Ming (Rich Ting)
Jackie Ming is the other new rival named in the captions. Like Thresher, the official season material does not establish how Ming connects to the Kansas City pressure or the local businessman described in the premise.
Other cast named in the season announcement
Paramount’s season announcement lists the full ensemble: Sylvester Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. The season-two captions do not assign roles to Max Casella, Andrea Savage, or Dana Delany, so their characters are not stated in the official material reviewed.
