At the 2024 ARIA Awards, Troye Sivan won three categories: Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist and Best Pop Release. All three wins are credited to his album Something To Give Each Other, which ARIA lists under EMI Music Australia. The result is easy to confuse with 2023, when Sivan won only one of these categories, so the year matters.
What Sivan won in 2024
ARIA’s official 2024 winners archive lists Something To Give Each Other as the winning entry in all three categories. That makes the album the single source of the sweep: the awards were not split between Sivan’s songs and other releases. Sivan’s name is the winning artist credit in Best Solo Artist, and the album title is the winning entry in Album of the Year and Best Pop Release.

Why the year matters: the 2023 results
Sivan was also a 2023 nominee-level presence in these categories, but the 2023 winners were different. ARIA’s 2023 archive shows that Genesis Owusu’s STRUGGLER won Album of the Year, Sivan’s “Rush” won Best Solo Artist, and Kylie Minogue’s “Padam Padam” won Best Pop Release. Sivan’s only win in that set was Best Solo Artist, for “Rush.”
The table below sets the two years side by side.
| Category | 2023 winner (ARIA 2023 archive) | 2024 winner (ARIA 2024 archive) |
|---|---|---|
| Album of the Year | Genesis Owusu, STRUGGLER | Troye Sivan, Something To Give Each Other |
| Best Solo Artist | Troye Sivan, “Rush” | Troye Sivan |
| Best Pop Release | Kylie Minogue, “Padam Padam” | Troye Sivan, Something To Give Each Other |
If you are checking a headline or a claim that Sivan swept all three categories twice, the 2023 row shows that only the Best Solo Artist category overlaps.

About the album
Universal Music’s catalog lists Something To Give Each Other with a release date of 13 October 2023 and EMI as the label. The catalog lists the album in CD and 12-inch vinyl LP formats. Troye Sivan’s official store also lists a CD edition. These are release details, not award details: ARIA’s results do not single out a particular physical format.

The ARIA archives establish who won each category in each year and which album ARIA credits for the 2024 wins. They do not provide sales figures, critical scores or any statement from the artist about the awards, so this article does not add those.
In short: Sivan’s 2024 hat trick is a single-album result, and the 2023 ceremony is a separate set of winners.
