Troye Sivan made his Miu Miu runway debut in the label’s Spring 2024 show, pairing a polo and dress shirt with board-style shorts and boat shoes. He summed up the look as “a preppy boy on holiday, who’s just come back from the beach.”

Sivan walked in Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2024 show on October 3, 2023, the final day of Paris Fashion Week womenswear. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s provisional calendar lists the season’s Paris shows as running September 25 through October 3, 2023. Vogue published its interview with Sivan the following day.
Vogue’s interview describes the appearance as Sivan’s Miu Miu debut and reports that he took part in the runway show.

How the look fits the Spring 2024 collection
British Vogue characterized Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection as reality-driven, with lived-in knitwear, layering and short-shorts among its styling features. That context helps place Sivan’s relaxed-meets-polished outfit within the show, but it does not mean the collection was specifically built around board shorts.

What “boardies” tells you—and what it doesn’t
“Board-style shorts” is the wording used in coverage of the look, and “board shorts” is a reasonable search term for finding similar silhouettes. The reporting does not identify a product name or style number, specify the shorts’ fabric, or establish that the exact runway pair is currently for sale. Generic board-short listings should therefore be treated as look-alikes, not confirmed versions of Sivan’s Miu Miu garment.
