Twitter is now called X, but the ranking uses the familiar Twitter wording. These are follower-count rankings—not an official X chart, a list of Pakistani citizens, or a measure of influence.

The figures below are the follower counts reported by twtData for its snapshot dated 29 September 2026. X counts can change, so the numbers and ordering should be read as a dated snapshot, not a live chart.

What “in Pakistan” means in this ranking
twtData says it selected accounts whose X profile location is Pakistan, then ranked the 50 with the most followers. It excludes business and government accounts and leaves out profiles without a location. Because profile location is a free-text field, this is a list of accounts that state Pakistan in that field—not verified Pakistani citizens or accounts confirmed to be physically located in Pakistan. The publisher notes that excluding profiles without a location means the broader pool may be larger.

The ranking also has a defined scope: for example, the Government of Pakistan identifies its X profile as the official account of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, but government accounts are excluded from twtData’s list. That exclusion is a methodological choice, not evidence that the account has fewer followers than the profiles shown.

The list measures reported follower totals only. It does not establish how many followers actively read or engage with posts, where an account’s audience lives, whether an account is authentic, or how credible or influential its posts are. twtData’s ranking does not provide comparative engagement or audience-quality data, so the figures support a popularity-by-followers comparison only.
Within this snapshot, Imran Khan ranks first; Asad Umar and Hamid Mir follow. Murad Saeed is tenth, with 5,480,395 followers reported. Those are points in time, and a later count or a different method for defining the Pakistan set could produce a different ranking.
